The latest movie for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has given us our first look at Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet. Revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the new movie ends with Peter Quill, meeting his absent father. Here is an image of the man / projection in question.
In comic books, Ego is, well, a planet with incredible intelligence and a propulsion device faster than light, at its south pole. In the film he takes human form to introduce himself with Peter. Apparently, he has been responsible for raising Mantis, one of the new guardians who will join the team.
